NLVLC, Inc was on site 18 November 2006 for the final vaccination clinic of 2006. It was a record turn out with our friends at Pet Zoo/AFW for complimentary exams, discount vaccinations/microchips and nail trims. Because of the huge sucess of these clinics we have decided to continue our efforts into 2007.
The next clinic is scheduled for 20 January 2007 where we’ll be celebrating Pet Dental Health Month.
NLVLC, Inc is proud to support the Alaska Humane Society’s 9th Annual Wine Tasting and Auction. Dr. Paula Schmidt and Julie Eck enjoyed the evening festivites accompanied by Doug H. and Dan J.
Northern Lights would like to give a special thanks to our own Michelle Martin (Mrs. Alaska) Betsy Wilde (Hostess) and Rita Corbin (Diretor) for generously sharing their time and talents for the good of the Alaskan cat.

Northern Lights is proud to announce the overall success of the 1st Annual NLVLC, Inc yard sale held on 14 Oct 2006. Despite the previous rain out and chilly temperatures, team members rallied together for this year’s donation recipient Alaska SPCA. We later met up with SPCA on location for their annual bake sale. Thanks to all the friends, neighbors and clients for their generous donations. A very special thanks to Andrea Allemani (Every Dogs Delight) and Jayne Crupi, LVT who spent the entire day helping homeless animals and our friends at the Alaska SPCA.

NLVLC, Inc. was thrilled to have visitors from Northstar Elementary and Mrs. Alaska Michelle Martin. Dr. Paula Schmidt and Jayne Crupi, LVT were on hand to provide animal info and our “mini tour”. We finished up with snacks and juice and fun was had by all. Thanks to the great team at Northstar.

NLVLC, Inc. was on site 9 September 2006 with our pals at the Pet Zoo/AFW in honor of pet/client appreciation. Team member placed microchips, performed nail trims and provided client education to all that stopped by to visit.

NLVLC, Inc. was on location for the 3rd Quarter Vaccine Clinic. Hosted and inspired by our friends at the PET ZOO/AFW the clinics have been a huge success. Animals receive complimentary wellness exams courtesy of Dr. Paula J. Schmidt, Medical Director/Owner of NLVLC, Inc.
Vaccines include Rabies, Bordetella, Dist/Parvo and feline Distemper/Leukemia for $10 each. Other services include, but, are not limited to, microchipping and nail trims.
The next clinic is scheduled for November 2006

NLVLC had fantanstic time at the 12th Annual Dog Jog hosted by FRIENDS OF PETS. Team members were on site to provide info, support and smiles throughout the event. Check out the photos. Michelle exemplifies beauty, intelligence and grace. Michelle, her husband Jason and their “pride” of kitties are long term clients and family of NLVLC and we feel very honored to have been allowed to participate in this VERY special AND EXCITING EVENT!
