A visit to Williwaw Elementary

Dr. Schmidt
Northern Lights and Michelle Delaney, public relations coordinator for The Pet Zoo/AFW paid a special visit to our new friends at Williwaw Elementary. With the help of Principal Goen, animal wellness and education was the topic of discussion. The children were given pet safety tips and instructed on animal care and welfare. The afternoon came to a close with an introduction of our cat “Kobuk” who wowed the audience.

This assembly was the first of many educational endeavors NLVLC, Inc and The Pet Zoo/AFW will embark on in the upcoming year.

A special thanks to Williwaw Elementary and Principal Bonnie Goen for inviting us into their home away from home
